Dual Enrollment
Policies
Dual Enrollment funding covers all tuition and mandatory fees, as well as any required textbooks. You may incur fees from courses with labs or that have specific supplies that are needed (typically less than $100).
Limit of 30 semester/45 quarter credit hours provided under the Dual Enrollment program. Additional hours can be taken but would have to be paid out of pocket.
All Males, age 18+ must register with SSS
DE program will only cover Core and CTAE courses
Core: math, science, language arts, social science, and foreign language courses
CTAE: Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education
Will not cover Fine Arts, PE, and Personal/Interpersonal/Social Skills courses

Northside only allows 11th and 12th grade students to participate. 10th graders can participate if they meet Zell Miller Scholarship requirements: 3.7 GPA, ACT score - 26 OR SAT score – 1200.
Must provide your own transportation. Parking pass fee out of pocket.
MUST remain off NHS campus during school day if you are not scheduled to be here during that time
DE students can participate in all NHS activities
DE students must adhere to Northside AND college calendars (separate)
Must complete 7 courses for the year (cumulative)
2 course withdrawal/F limit; you will be dropped after 2 withdrawals/Fs
No retakes for classes that have been withdrawn from or failed
Failed courses receive an “F” on the college AND high school transcript
A withdrawal from a college course goes on your high school transcript as an “F”
