Admission
CSU Dual Enrollment
- Meet Northside requirements for participation in Dual Enrollment
- Student and parent must meet with your high school Dual Enrollment counselor, Mrs. Redondo, by May 5,
2023 to discuss DE policies, plan courses, and complete the MCSD Dual Enrollment Participation
Agreement Form (THIS IS REQUIRED BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH ANY OTHER ADMISSION TASKS) - Create a Student Account on the www.GAfutures.org website
- Complete the Dual Enrollment Funding Application through GAfutures (click here for instructions)
- Apply to the college through GAfutures (click here for instructions), there is no application fee for DE students
- Request to have your NHS transcript sent to CSU through GAfutures (must have a 3.0 HOPE GPA)
- Submit the MCSD Dual Enrollment Participation Agreement to data_entry@columbusstate.edu
- Submit Certificate of Immunization to CSU
- Submit Verification of Lawful Presence to CSU
- Take the SAT/ACT/Accuplacer and have official scores sent to the college
- SAT (minimum 480 on Reading, 440 on Math)
- ACT (minimum 17 on English/Reading and Math sections)
- Accuplacer (minimum 237 on Reading, 258 on Math, 4 on WritePlacer)
- Once you are officially accepted to the college, meet with your CSU Advisor, Ms. Bagwell, to register for courses
- Submit a copy of your Summer and/or Fall 2023 class schedule in Canvas under the Assignments section by
May 31, 2023. THIS IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE FUNDING APPROVAL. IF I DO NOT RECEIVE A SCHEDULE, YOU
WILL HAVE A FULL NORTHSIDE CLASS SCHEDULE.
